💡🌊 Advancing towards the future of offshore floating solar energy

During the month of November, we held the annual meeting of the PV-bos GROW project in Vigo, funded under the Spain–Korea (KSSP) programme by CDTI Innovación – Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico y la Innovación, focused on the industrialization, serialization, modularization and containerization of the PV-bos floating solar technology, patented by BlueNewables.

The meeting took place at ASTILLEROS SAN ENRIQUE ., where a non-modular PV-bos demonstrator is currently under construction. The location was chosen to take advantage of this unique opportunity to directly connect the current full-scale demonstrator with the next-generation modular design being developed within the KSSP framework.

During the session, the Spanish consortium members — TaiichiO & Wolf Projects, Dogram, ECOS Group and BlueNewables — shared and reviewed progress across several strategic areas. The key advances discussed included:

🔹 Development of a fully modular system architecture
🔹 Industrialization processes
🔹 Cost reduction strategies
🔹 Preparation for future global deployment, especially in hard-to-assemble and remote locations

We continue working closely with our partners to turn PV-bos into a robust, bankable and competitive technology, enabling the decarbonization of multiple sectors within the blue economy.

Thank you to all partners for the commitment, shared vision and drive to take this technology to the next level. 🚀🌍
